The garbage that ruins the general look of the Nile in Egypt.

 

Have you ever went on a small boat in the Nile and while enjoying the view you met a pile of disgusting looking plastics ? Imagine taking an aesthetically beautiful Instagram story and instead of the peaceful look of the water you are met with plastic bottle and garbage and even slippers ! We all know that the Nile is beautiful but what about the other side that media don’t cover ?

 


 

What the media don’t cover

Around 10 million  people live in Cairo , can you imagine how many live around the Nile ? you have to had walked around the Nile at least once in your life and if you haven’t you are missing out a lot . But because of the high population a lot of people don’t have the proper knowledge of taking care of the Nile. You can be walking around admiring the view when suddenly you see a man throwing his plastic bottle and when you ask you are met with this answer “ better than throwing it in the streets “.

 

It's not just about the negative effects of the plastics on the Nile which can effect the marine life , or food and water poising and severe problems like cancer , it could be as basic as ruining the general look of the Nile .

 

The Nile is like a second home to you , would you be ok living in a dirty place like that ? despite all the negative things you might meet from this , the general beautiful look of the Nile says a lot about Egypt as a country , if we want to be viewed as clean country each one of us should start with themselves .
